Troubleshooting

Q. I have plugged in my HID kit but it doesn't come on?
A. Make sure the headlight bulb plug is connected correctly to the ballast and the plug from the OEM harness is plugged into the HID kit with the correct polarity.

Q. The HID bulbs do not fit into my headlight housing.
A. Check your vehicle owners manual to insure the correct bulb was sent.

Q. Only one light works, although both lights are installed the same.
A. Check the polarity on OEM harness to insure it matches the HID kit.

Q. The ballast make noise when they turn on.
A. This is normal, HID ballast receive charge form the cars battery in order to turn the lights on.

Q. The HID kit works initially but flickers sometimes.
A. It might be caused by damaged bulbs, ballast or a loose connection. Switching the ballast from left to right side can indicate if it is a problem with the ballast or the bulb.

Q. I have a high low/kit and the HIDs only works with the high beam on.
A. This can occur when the OEM plug polarity does not match the polarity of the HID kit. The HID plug wires can be switched to obtain the correct polarity. Usually the combination is yellow, black and red. Check our installation
page for more details.

Q. The HID Bulbs change color when they first turn on.
A. This is completely normal. When the lights first turn on, the power has not stabilized in the ballast yet, so the bulbs may change color or become more intense in the first 15-20 seconds.
